LR Baggs to Partner With Guitars For Glory
PRESS RELEASE
ROCHESTER, NY- March 22, 2018 - Guitars For Glory, Inc, the not-for-profit ministry whose mission is to place guitars and other instruments with people in need around the world, today revealed that LR Baggs Corporation has partnered with them in their mission to help place quality instruments and equipment with people in need around the world.
LR Baggs was founded in 1978 by Lloyd Baggs and his wife Nadine. The company is a producer of systems for amplifying acoustic instruments, mainly guitars, based on solutions patented by Lloyd R Baggs. They have distributors in over 30 countries. It's OEM clients include Martin, Breedlove, Gibson, Larrivee, Paul Reed Smith, Yamaha Guitars, and many more.
"Many of our team members have been using LR Baggs electronics for over twenty years" said Jeff Roeters, Cofounder at Guitars For Glory. "One of our mottos at GFG is that we won't send anything out that we wouldn't play ourselves. We want to give people our best and leave them with the best equipment available. Partnering with LR Baggs will ensure every guitar we donate will be equipped with the best electronics available. This fills a huge need for our organization. When we look for partnerships, our goal is always to partner with companies that care as much about people as they do their product. This is exactly what we see with the people at LR Baggs. We couldn't be more excited about this partnership."
Mike Newsom, Director of Marketing at LR Baggs, and his team, have committed to outfitting the next twenty-five guitars that Guitars For Glory donates with the versatile M1A pickup. These donations will allow Guitars For Glory to redirect current funding into other areas of need that their recipients have, such as training materials and other accessories that are difficult to access in other parts of the world.
