Guitars for Glory is thrilled to announce that our ministry has been invited to work in conjuction with Betania Summer Missionary Training School in the beautiful coastal town of Alicante, Spain from July 29- August 6, 2017. Betania is a ministry that has a strong partnership with a long-time missionary servant and friend, Gabe Agostini of SALT Leadership. SALT trains and equips evangelical pastors and church leaders to be competent in handling the Scriptures, and in making disciples. It was on a mission trip to Peru, lead by Gabe, that the ministry of Guitars for Glory was first born!
Betania is an intensive 6-week summer training school for young Christian men and women from Spain as well as other European countries. It is truly a special place for spiritual renewal, seeking God, and to receive training that will equip them to bring the Gospel to the ends of the earth. Students invest their time in return for an intense period of spiritual formation, character development, and studying God’s Word.
The week our team will serve is geared toward English speaking students and will have a worship emphasis. Our role is to enhance the present curriculum by adding Biblical and practical training on worship, in addition to instrumental lessons and worship leading skills. Betania has been looking for help in this area over the past several years and had been unsuccessful in finding a good match – until now!
GFG is also anticipating to participate in community outreaches. The Guitars For Glory team is excited to continue our mission of “Equipping the World for Worship”! How amazing this partnership will be as it affords us the opportunity to impact many nations from one central location in Spain. We love the fact that all students from the Betania Training School will be sent back into all parts of Europe!
We are very excited about the opportunity to reach many nations in one location. We ask that you lift our team up in prayer as we begin preparing for the trip and that we may be a vessel for the work that God wants done while we're there. We also ask that you pray for those we'll be spending time with during our visit, that lives will be transformed through worship and music.
